Time = 1/2 sec = 0.5 s

Time = 1/2 sec = 0.5 sSpeed = 330 m/s

We Have to Find Distance

As, we know

Distance = Speed × Time

Substituting the Values

➱ 330 × 0.5

➱ 165 m

Distance Between Mountainer & rock = Distance Travelled By Sound/2

➱ 165/2

➱ 82.5m

Therefore, the sound was reflected to 82.5m far

Speed of the sound = 330 m/sec

=> Distance = Speed x Time

                    = 330 x 0.5 m

                    = 165 m

(Distance between mountain and rock = Distance traveled by the sound)/2

=> 82.5 m ans.
