Hi,

Shape of a rectangular solid is

cuboid,

Dimensions of the cubiod is

Length = l = 1.05 m

l = 1.05 × 100 cm = 105 cm

Breadth = b = 70 cm

Height = h = 1.5 cm

Volume of the solid = lbh

V = 105 cm × 70cm × 1.5 cm

V = 11025 cm³

According to the problem given,

1 cm³ iron weighs 8 grams

11025 cm³ iron weighs = 8 ×11025 gm

= 88200grams

= 88200/1000kg

=88.2kgs

Therefore,

Solid weighs 88.2 kgs

I hope this helps you.

Solution :

Length = 1.05 m = 105 cm
Breadth = 70 cm
Height = 1.5 cm

Volume : length X breadth X height
= ( 105 X 70 X 1.5 ) cm^3
= 11025 cm^3

1 cm^3 = 8 grams
=> 11025 X8
= 88200 grams
= 88.2 kg
