(x/ 400 + x ) * 100 = 10

(x/ 400 + x ) = 1/10
10x = (400 + x)
9x = 400
x = 400/ 9 = 44.44 g of AlCl4

concentration of solution = X/ 400+X

(i hope u got RHS, i couldn't write full as space was less)

10% = X / 400+X

10/100= X/400+ X

1/10 = X /400+X

1 × (400+X) = X×10

400+ X = 10X

400= 10X -X

400 = 9X

X= 400/9

X = 44.444

so, X is 44.442g (rounded off)
