Given : square PQRS of sides 90 mm

To find : Construct   square PQRS and easure PR

Solution:

Step 1 : Draw a line Segment PQ = 90 mm (9 cm )  using ruler

Step 2 : Draw a right angle at Q on PQ using Set square / protractor / Compass

Step 3 :  Take Compass width = 90 mm ( 9 cm ) and taking Q as center take length on angle drawn from Q and mark R

Step 4 : Keeping compass Width same and taking P   Q as  center draw arcs intersecting at R

Step 5 : join PR  & QR

Step 6 : Measure PR ≈  127 mm
