Answer:

your answer is

Step-by-step explanation:

given that,,,,,,

height of cone = 8cm

base diameter = 12cm

hence,,,,

radius=6cm

formula of CSA of cone = πr^2

= 22/7+×6×6

=113.14cm^2

hence csa of cone = 113.14cm^2

Given:-

base diameter of cone = 12cm

radius of a cone = 12/2 = 6cm

height of a cone = 8cm

Solution :-

now we have to find slant height (l) of a cone

 {(l)}^{2} = {(h)}^{2} + {(r )}^{2} \\ {(l)}^{2} = \: {(8)}^{2} + {(6)}^{2} \\ {(l)}^{2} = 64 \: + \: 36 \\ {(l)}^{2} = \: 100cm \\ l \: = \: 10cm

now , we have to

csa \: of \: cone \: = \pi \: r \: h

now we have to put values in formula

CSA of cone = 22/7 * 6 * 10

CSA of cone = 22/7 * 60

CSA of cone = 1320 /7

CSA of cone = 188.5 cm2
