QUESTION :- Find two solutions for x + 2y =6 linear equation

SOLUTION :-

The given equation is  \sf \fbox \blue{x+2y=6} ------------❶

• Putting  \sf x=0 in equation ❶, we get

 \sf 0+2y=6

 \sf 2y=6

 \sf y=3

 \sf \fbox \green{(0,3)} is a solution.

• Putting  \sf \fbox \blue{y=0} in equation ❶, we get

 \sf x+2×0=6

 \sf {x=6}

 \sf \fbox \green{(6,0)} is a solution.

• Putting  \sf \fbox \blue{x=2} in equation ❶, we get

 \sf 2+2y=6

 \sf 2y=6 - 2

 \sf 2y=4

 \sf y=2

 \sf \fbox \green{(2,2)} is a solution.

• Putting  \sf \fbox \blue{x=4} in equation ❶, we get

 \sf 4+2y=6

 \sf 2y=2

 \sf y=1

 \sf \fbox \green{(4,1)} is a solution.

Hence,  \sf \fbox \orange{(0,3),(6,0),(2,2) \: and \: (4,1)} are four solutions of given equation.
