Q3. In severe cold weather, a family burnt wood in the room during the night by keeping the windows close. After
sometime, they felt suffocated. They immediately opened the windows and got relief. What did actually
happen?​

When wood is burnt it gives out certain gases like carbon monoxide, CO2, etc which makes breathing difficult. when they opened the door the supply of fresh air started and they all got relief.
