Given -

  • Length of rectangle = 9.25m

  • Breadth of rectangle = 8.50m

To find -

  • Perimeter of the rectangle

Solution -

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)

Where,

L = Length

B = Breadth

On substituting the values -

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(9.25 + 8.50)m

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(17.75)m

Perimeter of the rectangle = 35.5m²

\therefore The perimeter of the rectangle is 35.5m²

Other formule -

• Area of rectangle = L × B

• Area of square = side × side

• Perimeter of square = 4 × side

• Area of triangle = 1/2 × base × altitude\height

• Perimeter of triangle = a + b + c

  • Length as L.

  • Breadth as B.

  • Perimeter as P.

  • Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

  • This question says that there is a rectangle. It's length and breadth are given respectively 9.25 m and 8.50 m. Now, it says that we have to find the perimeter of rectangle.

\large{\boxed{\boxed{\sf{How \: to \: do \: this \: question}}}}

\large{\boxed{\boxed{\sf{Let's \: see \: the \: procedure \: now}}}}

  • To solve this question we have to use the formula to find perimeter of rectangle that is 2(l+b). Afterthat according to this formula we have to put the values. We have to put 9.25 as l and 8.50 as b. After putting them we get 2(9.25 + 8.50). Now add the digits we get 17.75 afterthat multiplying this by 2 we get 35.5 m as our final result . Thus, we get 35.5 metres as the perimeter of rectangle.

\large{\boxed{\boxed{\sf{Full \: solution}}}}

According to this question, we already know that what is given or what to find. We have given with l and b and we have to find the perimeter.

So, let's see formula to find perimeter of rectangle again.

  • Perimeter = 2(l+b)

Where,

  • l is length.

  • b is breadth.

  • p is perimeter.

Putting the values we get the following results.

➝ P = 2(l+b)

➝ P = 2(9.25 + 8.50)

➝ P = 2(17.75)

➝ P = 35.5 metres.

Henceforth, perimeter of rectangle is 35.5 metres.
