We can use the midpoint formula here.

Midpoint formula:

(x,y) = (x1+x2/2 , y1+y2/2)

Let E = (x,y)

A = (-2,0)

D = (2,-3)

=> (-2,0) = (2+x/2 , -3+y/2)

=> -2 = 2+x/2 , 0 = -3+y/2

=> -4 = 2+x , 0 = -3+y

=> x = -6 , y = 3

Thus, E = (-6,3)

Answer:

let the co ordinate of the point E is (x,y)

as A(-2,0) is the mid point

(-2,0)=(2+x/2, -3+y/2)

-2=2+x/2. -3+y/2=0

y=3

-4=2+x

x=-6

Step-by-step explanation:

so the co ordinate of the point E is (-6,3)
