Solution:

The dimension of the rectangular farm:

Length, L = 225 m

Width, W = 180 m

Since Ram Lal wants to fence the entire farm, so here we have to find the perimeter of the rectangular farm,

i.e., Perimeter of the farm = $2\times [225 + 180] = 2 \times 405 = 810\:m$

Now,

If the rate of the cost of fencing is = Rs. 10/meter

Then, the cost of fencing 810 m = 810 m × Rs. 10 = Rs. 8100

Thus, the total expenditure is → Rs. 8100
