Well the cause of his confusion is that, he was himself not sure that did samuel really used to beat his students or not and that he told his father that samuel beated so many students , peeled their skin off the knuckles and made blood snore out of them . Thats why he was scared tooas his father was going to get samuel suspended or may be handver him to police.
