a)We know that,

25N=100N

Let the distance needed he x.

=>G×m1×m2/x²=25N=100N/4

=>x=2r.

Therefore, for the first case distance should be doubled.

b) For this case we can use the similar step but instead of 100N/4, take 100N×4 to find for 400N.
