Let the breadth be 'x' cm

And length, (x-3)cm as the length exceeds the

breadth by 3cm

Perimeter = 2(l+b)

30 = 2[(x-3)+(x)]

30 = 2(2x-3)

30 = 4x-6

30+6 = 4x

36 = 4x

36/4 = x

9 X

Since breadth, x = 9 cm

Therefore, length, x-3 = 9-3 = 6 cm
