Answer:

\huge\mathtt{\underline{\underline{\red{SOLUTION:-}}}}

SOLUTION:−

Given:-

perimeter of triangle=20cm

and it's 2 sides

=> 4.2cm and 9cm

we have to find the 3rd side of triangle

Let the 3rd side be x

then we know that the perimeter of triangle =sum of all sides

\mathbb{\underline{\underline{ACCORDING\:TO\: QUESTION:-}}}

ACCORDINGTOQUESTION:−

\begin{gathered}\sf perimeter= sum \:of\:all\: sides\\ \\ \sf\implies 20= 4.2+9+x\\ \\ \sf\implies 20=13.2+x\\ \\ \sf\implies 20-13.2=x\\ \\ \sf\implies 6.8=x\end{gathered}

perimeter=sumofallsides

⟹20=4.2+9+x

⟹20=13.2+x

⟹20−13.2=x

⟹6.8=x

The third side of triangle=6.8cm

\sf\underline{\underline{\red{third\: side\:of\: triangle=6.8cm}}}
