Let the Ist Multiple of 8 = x
2nd multiple of 8= 8+x
3rd multiple of 8= 16 +x

♡SOLUTION:-

First multiple of 8 = x

Second multiple of 8 = 8+x

Third multiple of 8= 8 +8+x = 16 +x

So therefore to find X

According to question :-

x+8+x+16+x=888

3x+24=888

3x=888-24

3x=864

$x = \frac{864}{3}$

x=288
