Q3. Two point charges q and -9 are at a distance 2a apart. Calculate the electric field at a point P
situated at a distance r along the perpendicular bisector of the line joining the charges. What is
the electric field when r>>a? Also give the direction of electric field intensity with respect to
electric dipoie moment.

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

THE ELECTRIC FIELD ALONG THE EQUITORIAL POSITION:-

E = 1/4π× (2p)/

E = 9×10^9 × (9×2a)/

direction of electric field intensity along the perpendicular bisector and perpendicular to the the dipole moment.

hope it helps you
