Economic activities contribute to the flow of goods and services of an economy if there is an increase in productive activities that means the economy is progressing economic activities lead to an increase in the personal income as well as the national income

Now, what are the different types of economic activities?

Economic activities are of three types listed below with their explanation

Primary sector - All the activities that are associated directly with the land and water such as animal husbandry, forestry, fisheries mining, etc are known as primary activities. Primary occupations have a direct link with the nature of the physical environment most of the people of developing, under developing, and underdeveloped countries are employed in primary occupations.

Secondary sector - These are those activities in which people are engaged in the manufacturing process. In the secondary activities primary goods are used to produce some other commodities, manually or by machines for example production of bread from wheat a car from still a book from paper, etc.

Tertiary sector - These are those activities that provide services to the primary and secondary activities this service increases efficiencies of the workers of primary and secondary sectors. Education, health, transport, banking, insurance communication, administration, etc are examples of tertiary activities.
