WE SHOULD WRITE THIS AS –

${x}^{2} = 7 - \frac{1}{x}$

TO FIND :–

${x}^{2} + \frac{1}{ {x}^{2} }$

So, put the value of x² —

${x}^{2} + \frac{1}{ {x}^{2} } = (7 - \frac{1}{x} )+ ( \frac{1}{7 - \frac{1}{x} } )$

$= ( \frac{7x - 1}{x} )( \frac{x}{7x - 1} ) \\ \\ = 1$
