GIVEN EQUATION :

 {x}^{2}  +  \frac{1}{x }  = 7

WE SHOULD WRITE THIS AS

 {x}^{2}  = 7 -  \frac{1}{x}

TO FIND :

 {x}^{2}  +  \frac{1}{ {x}^{2} }

So, put the value of x²

 {x}^{2}  +  \frac{1}{ {x}^{2} }  = (7 -  \frac{1}{x}  )+ ( \frac{1}{7 -  \frac{1}{x} } )

 = ( \frac{7x - 1}{x} )( \frac{x}{7x - 1} ) \\  \\  = 1
