\bf{Here,Given}

x + 2y = -5 ......( i )

-3x - 6y + 1 = 0 ......( ii )

By comparing the equations to standard form \bf{ax²+ bx + c = 0 } , we get

x + 2y + 5 = 0

-3x -6y + 1 = 0

so here,

  • a1 = 1 , b1 = 2 , c1 = 5
  • a2 = -3 , b2 = -6 , c2 = 1

so, a1 / a2 = 1 /-3 = -1/3

b1 / b2 = 2 / - 6 = 1/ - 3 = -1/3

c 1 / c2 = 5 / 1

so ,

-1/3 = -1/3 5/1

As , a1 / a2 = b1 / b2 c1 / c2

so it has no solution .
