Answer: According to me yes, growing crops alternatively in the same field can help in recycling the nutrients and enrich the soil. If it is done with a protein giving or a legumes plant.

Explanation: As we know that legumes plants have rizobium bacteria in their roots which covert the atmospheric nitrogen into soluble nitrogen (nitrates) which helps the plant to make protein rich food. Thus if we grow these type of plants along with crops alternatively it will help to retain nutrients in the soil
