As Robespierre followed a policy of severe control and punishment. the people of France were unhappy and were against it. Peasants were forced to follow Robespierre's rules which states that peasants have to sell their goods at a fixed price at the city market. Robespierre gullitoned everyone who were against him. These led to the fall of Jacobin government.
