Given :

• The sum of the zeros = 0

• Product of zeros = 15

To find :

• A quadratic polynomial each with the given numbers as the sum and product of its Zeroes respectively.

Solution :

PART A :

This can be represented as :-

→ α + β = 0

→ α × β = 15

We know that a quadratic polynomial is of the form :-

→ k (x² - (α + β)x + α × β)

→ k (x² + 15)

The quadratic polynomial is x² + 15.

PART B :

→ The sum of zeros = 2

→ The product of zeros = 13

→ α + β = 2

→ α × β = 13

We know that a quadratic polynomial is of the form :-

→ k (x² - (α + β)x + α × β)

→ k (x² - 13x + 2)

The quadratic polynomial is x² - 13x + 2
