x -  \frac{1}{x}  = 6  \\   (x -  \frac{1}{x} )^{2}  =  {6}^{2} \\  {x}^{2}  +  {( \frac{1}{x} )}^{2}  + 2 \times  x \times  \frac{1}{x}  = 36 \\  {x}^{2}  +  \frac{1}{ {x}^{2} }  + 2 = 36 \\  {x}^{2}  +  \frac{1}{ {x}^{2} }  = 36 - 2  = 34

hence, value of x²+(1/x²) = 34

answer = 34

1 X x + 6

On squaring both sides we get,

2 (x + ¹)² = 1 X 6²

1 2² +²2+ 2(x) ( ² ) = 36

1 =

x² + 1 34

Identity I used =

(a + b)² = a² + b² + 2ab

Hence answer is 34
