ATQ, the present age of Rahul and ronil are in the ratio 5:6 and product of their ages is 120.

let their age be 5x and 6x respectively.

therefore 5x × 6x = 120 yrs

=> 30x² = 120 yrs

=> x² = 120/30

=> x² = 4

=> x = √4

=> x = 2

hence, present age of Rahul = 5x = 5 × 2 = 10 yrs and present age of ronil = 6x = 6 × 2 = 12 yrs.

now, difference between their ages = 12 - 10 = 2 years

the difference between their ages is 2 yrs.

HOPE THIS HELPS!!

2 years as the age of Rahul = 5×2 =10
the age of Ronil = 6×2 =12
12-10=2 years
