SOLUTION

GIVEN

  • The area of rectangle is 49 sq.cm

  • Breadth is 3.5cm

EVALUATION

The length of rectangle

FORMULA TO BE IMPLEMENTED

Area of a rectangle = Length × Breadth

EVALUATION

Here it is given that the area of rectangle is 49 sq.cm

Breadth= B = 3.5 cm

Let length = L cm

So by the given condition

L × B = 49

 \displaystyle \sf{ \implies \:L \times 3.5 = 49 }

 \displaystyle \sf{ \implies \:L \ =  \frac{49}{3.5}  }

 \displaystyle \sf{ \implies \:L \ =  14}

Hence the required length = 14 cm
