After the pollination, fertilization takes place in the flowers. It is then converted into the seeds which further develop into a fruit.


When the pollen grain sticks to the stigma of the flower, it gets fertilized and further develops into a fruit of the plant.


If pollination would not occur, fertilization cannot take place.
