Geetanjali Institution of technical studies organised a seminar on water and environmental conservation to create awareness for environmental issues particularly for water conservation on world water day .there were 9 participants who spoke on various water conservation strategies and significance of world water day.
The Director prof. Dr. K.N.Sheth stated that the purpose of the seminar was to create awareness about the importance of water in our lives and show ways to conserve this most important source of life .he said that approximately 1.2 billion people lack reliable access to save water that is free from disease and industrial waste.40 % do not have access to adequate sanitation facilities.
