Q5 (a) Solve the following pairs of linear equations by cross-multiplication
method
(0) 2x + y = 5
3x +2y = 8

mutliplyimg 1 st equation by -2 we get

-4x-2y=-10 ......eqn3

now adding 2 and 3

we x=2

amd now put x= 2in eqn 2

we get y=1
