Length of the rectangle= 30cm

Breadth of the rectangle = 24 cm

∴ Perimeter = 2(30 + 24 ) cm = 108 cm

It means the length of the wire is 108 cm

Now, the wire has been rebent to make a square, which means that the square formed will have perimeter = 108 cm

Let the side of the square formed be s cm

Perimeter = 4s cm

ATQ, 4s = 108

⇒ s = 108/4 = 27

ANS :- THE SQUARE FORMED WILL HAVE SIDE MEASURES 27 CM
