The change observed when regulator is opened

  • When the knob is turned on, the pin inside the regulator drops down and releases the gas, and the regulator acts as a chamber or room where it is released. The gas can only travel through the pipe in one direction now, and it reaches the stove.
  • As a result, the knob and pin are actuated by a basic gear technique, however the teeth of the gear wear down over time owing to continual friction/use, as it is the sole part that is not stationary.
  • When the regulator is opened, the liquid exits out the cylinder's nozzle, which has a low pressure.
  • As gas moves from a high to a low pressure state.
