The poem “Road Not Taken” by Robert Frost throws up many images. The clearest image is of a one path leading to two different paths. So, we can use this image in our representation. We need to create an image of a forest(woods), a path and a point where the path splits into two paths. Making a collage would be a good idea. The trees can be shown with bits of green paper. You could use different shades of green. The paths need to have bits of yellow, to give the effect of fallen leaves. Some words could be written or pasted on the path before it divides into two. These words could be goals, aims, dreams, future, plans, desires, thoughts, ideas, career, decisions and so on.  

 

This representation should be able to convey the essence of the poem to the audience. The main theme is that we often have to make decisions and those decisions change our lives forever. We cannot possibly come back and undo those decisions. Also, we do not always know for certain whether the decisions we make are indeed the best ones or not.
