Answer:

Solution :

1st term = x² - x - 2

= x² - (2 - 1)x - 2

= x² - 2x + x - 2

= x (x - 2) + 1 (x - 2)

= (x - 2) (x + 1)

2nd term = x² + x - 6

= x² + (3 - 2)x - 6

= x² + 3x - 2x - 6

= x (x + 3) - 2 (x + 3)

= (x + 3) (x - 2)

3rd term = x² - 3x + 2

= x² - (1 + 2)x + 2

= x² - x - 2x + 2

= x (x - 1) - 2 (x - 1)

= (x - 1) (x - 2)

In 1st, 2nd and 3rd term, we see that there is common factor (x - 2)

Therefore, the required gcd = (x - 2)
