Given :

  • Given Data 46, 64, 87, 41, 58, 77, 35, 90, 55 ,33, 92.

To Find :

  • Median of the data.

Solution :

Firstly we will arrange the given data in ascending order :.

33 , 35 , 41 , 46 , 55 , 58 , 64 , 77 , 87 , 90 , 92...

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{Median=\bigg\lgroup\bf {\dfrac{n+1}{2}}^{th}\bigg\rgroup}

Putting Values : -

\longmapsto\tt{\bigg\lgroup\bf \dfrac{11+1}{2}\bigg\rgroup}^{th}

\longmapsto\tt{\bigg\lgroup\bf \cancel\dfrac{12}{2}\bigg\rgroup}^{th}

\longmapsto\tt\bold{6th}

So , The 6th Term i.e 58 is the median of the data...
