In the story "The Letter to God" one can conclude that God helps his children when they face difficulties. When Lencho asked God for help during his bad times, he was helped by the postmaster. This can be concluded that God made the postmaster a bridge by which he was able to help Lencho. God does not help the people directly, rather he paves the path for their help to come to them. It's just that the people should have faith in him and should always try to help themselves.
