Let monthly income of suman be x

She spends 60% of her income,

Percentage left = 100% - 60%

= 40%

Therefore, she saves 40% of her income

★ According to question:-

She saves 120rs. of her monthly income,

40% of income = 120

40x/100 = 120

4x/10 = 120

4x = 1200

x = 1200/4

x = 300 rs

Therefore, monthly income of suman is 300rs
