∴12*2=24 degrees celcius being decresed in 12 hours.

no of -2's = the no. of hrs. The temp given started at noon so 12 00.

there are 9 -2's so 9 hrs. 12 00+ 9hrs = 21 00hrs or 9pm.

(b)Temperature at midnight = 12 hrs*2 degrees= 24 degrees.

so 10-24= -14 degrees.

∴Temperature at midnight= -14 degrees.
