Both statements are not sufficient in finding the solution.

Given:

p²-2qr

To find:

Statements required to solve

Solution:

If we have statement with us that means if the value of p + q is given the we can convert p or q in the terms of other

Suppose p+q = 5

So, p = 5 - q

So, our equation now will be

(5-q)² - 2qr

Now if we are given the value of q+r = 10

r = 10-q

(5-q)² - 2(10-q)

25 + q² - 10q -20 +2q

We will still not be able to solve the equation as we do not know the value of q

Hence, both statements together are also not sufficient.
