x be no. of articles

cost was 2x +3

total cost

x (2x + 3) =90

2x^2 + 3x = 90

2x^2 + 3x - 90

2x^2 + 15x - 12x -90

x (2x + 15) -6 ( 2x + 15)

x can not be negative

therefore x= 6

cost = 15
