Answer:
a) The amount of solar energy which is received by the Sun is known as insolation. The Sun's energy reaches the Earth as short waves. It is on the basis of insolation that the Earth is divided into various heat zones. Differences of insolation on earth, causes our weather and regulates our climate
b) Temperature is inversely related to latitude. As latitude increases, the temperature falls, and vice versa. Generally, around the world, it gets warmer towards the equator and cooler towards the poles.
c) The latitude of the Place. The altitude of the Place. Distance From The Sea. The presence of warm and cold ocean Currents.
d) Winds carry the warmth and cold from one place to another. For example, as the lower latitudes are warmer than the higher latitudes, winds blowing from the lower latitudes to the higher latitudes increase the temperature of the higher latitudes.
