Q6:Give the geometric representations of 2 x - 7 = 0 as an equation(i) in one variable(ii) in two variables​

i) In one variable, we have only x-axis (no y-axis)

solving equation

2x-7=0

x =7/2

x= 6.5

ii) In two variable, we have x and y axis

hence, we right the equation in terms of x &y

2x -7 =0

2x + 0y - 7=0_ is the standard form (1)

Putting y = 0 in eq 1

2x +0 (0) -7 =0

2x -7 =0

x = 7/2

× = 6.5

(x,y) = (6.5, 0)

Putting y = 1 in eq 1

2x +0×1 -7 =0

2x -7 = 0

x = 6.5

(x,y) = (6.5, 1)
