Q6. If x + y = 14 and x- y =2. Find the value of 2x- y.​

x+y=14

x-y=2

2x=16

x=16/2=8

substitute x=8 in any of 2 equations

so 8+y=14

y=14-8

y=6

2x-y=2(8)-6

=16-6

2x-y=10
