Hello Friend

Hope this helps you

Your Question framing is wrong

x+y+z)^2 = x^2 + y^2 + z^2 + 2 (xy + yz + zx)

100 = 40 + 2 (xy+yz+zx)

xy + yz + zx = 30

( x + y + z) =  10

JUST SQUARE BOTH SIDES

( x^2 + y^2 + z^2 + yz + xz + yz  + xy + xz + xy ) = 100

x^2 + y^2 + z^2 + 2xy + 2yz + 2xz = 100

(x^2 + y^2 + z^2)  + 2 ( xy + yz + xz) = 100

40  + 2 ( xy + yz + xz) = 100

2 ( xy + yz + xz ) = 60

xy + yz + xz = 30  ANSWER
