HOMOGENEOUS MIXTURE:-

~They have uniform compositions.

~The components of homogeneous mixtures are not physically distinct.

eg:- Milk is a homogeneous colloid.

Water itself is an example of a homogeneous mixture.

HETEROGENEOUS MIXTURES:-

~They have non-uniform compositions.

~They have no visible boundaries of separation between the constituents.

eg:- Oil and water form a heterogeneous mixture.

Sandy water is a heterogeneous mixture.

Answer:

Homogeneous mixture:A mixture in which its constituents are mixed uniformly , is called homogeneous mixture.

Heterogeneous mixture:A mixture in which its constituents are not disturbed uniformly, is called heterogeneous mixture.

Mixture:If two or more substance are mixed together in any proportion, such that they do not undergo any chemical change, but retain their individual properties, then the resulting mass is called mixture.
