let 7-√5 be a rational number

according to the question,

(7-√5)^2 =(rational number)^2

49+5-14√5 = rational number

54-14√5=rational number

we know that difference of rational and irrational number is irrational so that it is opposite to the fact that 7-√5 is a rational number.
