Answer: Condition is the transfer of heat between two substances that are in direct contact with each other... The conditions for the transfer of heat through conduction are as follows :-

(i) The two objects should be in direct contact with each other.

(ii) The temperature of the two objects should be different. Heat will flow from a hotter object to a cooler object.
