 \huge\underline{\pink{\bf{Question:-}}}

If n (A) = 1000, n(B) = 500 and if n (ANB) > 1 and n (AUB) =p, then:-

\huge\bf\underline{\underline{\pink{**A} \orange{N}\blue{S}\red{W}\green{E}\purple{R**}}}

1000<p < 1499

Given, n(A) — 1000, п(В) — 500

and n( ANB) >1 and

n(AU B) = p

Therefore,

n(ANB) = n(A) + n(B) — п(A UB)

= 1000 + 500 – p

=1500 – p. | .. [Since

n(ANB) > 1]

➡️1500 - p > 1

➡️p < 1499 (i)

Also, n(A U B) > n(A)

= p > 1000 „(ii)

From Equations. (i) and (ii), we get

1000 < p < 1499
