Explanation:

as initial velocity is 39.2 m/s .

a) v= u +at

at top point v=0

so

0=39.2 -9.8×t

9.8×t=39.2

t=39.2/9.8

t=4 sec

b) h=ut -1/2gt²

h = 39.2×4-1/2×9.8×16

h=78.4 m
