Probability that it will rain tomorrow= P(E) = 0.85

Probability that it will not rain tomorrow= P(E¯)

Since the sum of the probability of occurrence of an event and probability of non occurrence of an event is 1,

We know that,

P(E) + P(E¯)= 1

0.85 + P(E¯) = 1

P(E¯) = 1 – 0.85

P(E¯) = 0.15

Therefore, the probability that it will not rain tomorrow is = 0.15
