1) A florist sold 20 roses and 99 tulips in a day. How many flowers did he sell in

all?

2) There are 168 tigers and 75 lions in a national park.How many tigers and lions

are there in the park altogether?

3) Siya has 99 shells. She gave 79 of them to her friend. How many shells are left

with Maria?

4) Ravi has a large orchard. It has 583 orange and apple trees put together. If

there are 269 orange trees, how many apple trees would be there in the orchard ?​

20+99=119 flowers

2) There are 168 tigers and 75 lions in a national park.How many tigers and lions   are there in the park altogether?

168+75=243 tigers and lions

3) Siya has 99 shells. She gave 79 of them to her friend. How many shells are left  with Maria?

99-79=20 shells

4) Ravi has a large orchard. It has 583 orange and apple trees put together. If  there are 269 orange trees, how many apple trees would be there in the orchard ?​

583-269=314 apple trees
