initial quantity of water by 3x
if 14 liters of milk is taken out
milk quantity = 4x -14
if 14 litre of water replaced
water quantity = 3x +14
4x -14/3x+14 =3/4
(4x -14)4= (3x +14)3
16x - 56 = 9x + 42
16x -9x = 42+52
7x =98
x= 98/7
x= 14
initial quantity of milk = 4x =14*4 =56
initial quantity of water = 3x =3*14=42
